Very difficult to say the tentative dates of result. However, don’t bother, in any case, start preparing for the next competitive examination now itself. No one knows where your future lies.

Dear sir, It is happy to know about MAY 2015 notification for ALP. But are you sure about that. whether it will be the centralised notification for all RRB or for few ones. and what is the percentage of possibility to notification? And what about the vacancy? Please reply sir. Thank you. I have not qualified for the last CEN 2014 notification after attending Aptitude Test in RRB Chennai.

    • Mahesh Kumar Jain says:

I am not sure but it is a guess. The average recruitment is once in 18 months and may go upto Dec 2015. The process will be same as that of last year. It is difficult to guess the vacancy but in any case it may be around plus minus 20% of last figures.

      • Thirumalai says:

Dear sir, Thank you for your reply. I want to be ready for the 2015 ALP exam. Could you please guide me on the detailed syllabus for Technical ability especially Mechanical and which book I a have to be study and Practice Book. I want to be sure about my success in the coming 2015 Exam. I am ECE Diploma student. Thank you sir.

        • Mahesh Kumar Jain says:

The syllabus is not as per any discipline, but common for all streams of ITI. It, therefore, calls you to read and go through the content of all trades. There are no books I know which are sure shot success. The rest of the syllabus is for general knowledge, arithmetic and general intelligence. Mock drill exams are available for you to practice (on this site as well) and understand where you stand and how to compensate for the weak areas. I will posting practice exams on arithmetic and technical ability shortly. Loco pilot salary in IR is better than average salary paid in IT sector. Therefore, you will not regret your choice. Be careful, that you are not wearing specs and there is no issue related to psychological testing. Medical examination is strick with no relexation.

  4. sir plz tell me goods gurds ke liye perfect book kaun sa hoga

    • Mahesh Kumar Jain says:

There is no perfect book for any of the competitive examination. The vacancies of guards are included in NTPC (Non-technical Popular Category) examination conducted by RRB. The examination is common for all the vacancies included in the competitive examination. The syllabus is always given with the advertisement which generally includes general knowledge, ability of mathematics, logical reasoning, general science etc. The first thing is to study the syllabus and split into its different parts. Then study different books and understand what can be covered in each of the main heading. Make a sincere study of each of the item carefully with frequent mock drill examination.
